High quality steel roof cargo basket ER-08208S is a great way to transport items on a vehicle roof using existing roof rack cross bars. The 47.25 inchL x 36.5 inchW x 5 inchH (overall) roof cargo basket features a rung design for securing gear, luggage, camping equipment and more with cargo nets, tie-down straps, or bungees. The usable storage area measures 45.25 inchL x 30.25 inchW x 5 inchH inside. Each cargo basket fits factory or aftermarket crossbars up to 3.5 inch wide x 1 inch thick, or 1.25 inch round bars, with at least 1.25 inch spacing between the vehicle roof and cross-bars required. Roof rack cross bars must be between 21 inch and 30 inch apart. Features a 1 inch outside diameter steel tube frame with a 0.5 inch inside diameter steel tube frame. Maximum 150 lb. cargo capacity. Includes a semi-transparent 'smoke' wind fairing and necessary hardware for assembly. Made with steel construction finished in a smooth black for long lasting durability.
